This exciting toy features a joker who is playing tricks that are not so funny. A call from the Commissioner sets Batman to action immediately. Robin has already lowered the drawbridge to the entrance of the bat cave situated in the main floor. Batman soon arrives here on the elevator and immediately grabs his bat cycle to make an exit through the side door as the Penguin is just outside. Interest and excitement is added to the game in the form of various additional features. For example, the drawbridge can spin and keep the bat cycle ready to spring into action. The jail and elevator features an escape hatch.

User reviews for the game are quite positive and encouraging. For instance, one user says he purchased this game for his son and as soon as they opened the pack, he got the feel of a classic Mego comic action hero vibe. The host of gimmicks in Fisher Price bat cave include the elevator which stops at all three floors. It also leads to the roof which can be opened with a flip up hatch.
Other exciting features include a missile launcher platform that is revealed through a slide out rock panel, an iris window that can be opened, a prison cell made of clear plastic along the lines of Hannibal Lechter’s cell, a ramp and a side hatch that can be opened for the bat cycle, a front gateway that again can be opened and the smoked plastic window that is actually a huge bat symbol. The second floor features a side entrance and side stairs. The game includes a hook and winch and other staircases, ladders and clear windows.
Molded details in the Fisher Price Batcave include the control panels and the interesting bat bed. The only downside users found to the game is the fact that while all batmen come with cloth capes, Robin does not have one. The Batmobile can be purchased for an extra ten dollars and is sure worth the money spent. The Batmobile features a cockpit that can be opened. As you press a button, the grille flips out to transform into a capture claw. As the batmobile, which comes with a batman rolls, the turbo flames spin.
Penguin comes with a backpack that is actually a spinning umbrella and two penguin hench beasts. You can add to your collection of batman figures which come with bat grapple, bat glider and winch that have minimal cost. Fisher Price Batcave definitely seems to be an interesting and exciting toy, especially for boys, both young and old.
